Sean Connolly is an experienced and effective trial lawyer and legal advisor who provides quality representation in the areas of real estate, criminal law, overweight truck defense, civil litigation and corporate and municipal investigations.
Mr. Connolly also serves as an Independent Attorney for the Village of Tinley Park. Sean is a proud father of two, living in the Chicago Suburbs with his wife and youngest child.

Legal Expertise
In 2009, Mr. Connolly established the Connolly Law Office, P.C. Before going into private practice, he worked for five years as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, serving as a prosecutor and civil litigator. As a prosecutor, Sean prosecuted serious traffic matters, such as DUI and driving on a revoked or suspended license, and felony narcotic cases. When Sean was assigned to the Civil Actions Bureau of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, he represented Cook County in federal and state court, administrative agencies, and the Illinois Labor Relations Board.
In 2007, Sean joined the law firm Epstein Becker & Green and worked as a commercial litigator. In 2008, Sean returned to the public sector accepting a position as a Deputy General Counsel for Administration and Support Services for the Illinois Department of Central Management Services.
Military Service



In addition to his law practice, Sean Connolly is also a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.
In 1996, Sean graduated from John Carroll University and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Chemical Corps. He served on active duty with 3rd Squadron, 4th United States Cavalry Regiment as the Squadron Chemical Officer and then Executive Officer of the Headquarters Troop. Four years later in 1999, Sean left active duty to attend law school and joined the Illinois Army National Guard. The following year, Sean transferred to the United States Army Reserve to serve as Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General of the 416th Theater Engineer Command.
In 2003, Sean was deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism; he served in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan and received the Bronze Star Medal for exceptionally meritorious service during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sean is a superior graduate from the United States Army War College and he currently serves as the Commander of the 117th Legal Operations Detachment, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
